A Block (9th Grade):  Romeo and Juliet test next Wednesday.
Review:
1. Conflict:What are the main conflicts and how are they resolved?
2. Characterization: Why is the dynamic character? How does he/she change? Who is the tragic hero? What is his/her tragic flaw?
3. Motifs: Fate: What role does fate play? How does Romeo's attitude toward fate change?
Duality: What roles does Duality play? Look at Friar's speech in Act II, scene iii- how does it ultimately apply to the story?
4. Theme: How do your anwers for 1,2,3 allow themes to emerge? State 2-3 themes for the play.
*Review Guide for the Final Exam was handed out today! Begin to prepare!!
